We accept donations of gently-used tack and horse equipment!
For the most part, we are happy to accept donations of used horse tack and equipment. Some of it we can put right to use, other items we can sell to raise money for our program. Either way, you get a donation receipt! Please contact rider@therapeuticridinginc.org or give us a call prior to dropping off used equipment.

We unfortunately Cannot Accept:
While we appreciate every donation we receive, there are some items we simply cannot accept due to safety considerations.
Western saddles—we do not typically use western saddles in our program.
Moldy, cracked, or very dry leather goods.
Frayed halters or lead ropes
Traditional fillis stirrup irons—safety stirrups are required for all of our riders.
Mismatched or single stirrup leathers
Curb bits or leverage bits—many of our riders are learning to have steady hands, and we do not use curb bits or leverage bits on our horses.
Heavily soiled saddle pads & grooming equipment—to protect the health of our herd.
