Ways to Donate

Therapeutic Riding, Inc. is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Rider fees account for only a small fraction of our costs and we turn no-one away due to an inability to pay. Therefore, we rely on the generosity of individuals, community businesses, and foundations to help us provide our very special services. We receive no government funding. Approximately 80% of every dollar donated goes directly into providing programming for our riders.

Your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and you will receive a receipt for your donation. Your privacy is important to us and we do not sell or share any information.

Approximately 80% of our budget comes from the generous donations of individuals and businesses like you. In Memory

It is always hard when someone you love passes away, or when you lose a beloved horse or pet. A memorial gift to TRI can be a meaningful way to honor the memory of that special person or animal friend. Memorial gifts can be of any amount and will be listed in our Annual Donor Report. Tribute

Has someone made a difference in your life? Are you looking for a way to honor that valuable co-worker or employee, to recognize a graduation, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, wedding, birthday or other important event? Whatever the occasion or reason, a donation to TRI would be a fitting way to honor those special people. Tribute gifts can be of any amount and will be listed in our Annual Donor Report. TRI-FECTA

TRI-FECTA is TRI's largest fundraiser. This "race" helps us to earn the funds to feed and care for our beloved horses. Won't you help bring all of them across the finish line? See our TRI-FECTA page for more information.

In Lieu of Gifts

Are you shopping for the person who has everything? Consider giving a "gift" of a donation to TRI in their honor.

Perhaps YOU are that person who has all they need. Why not suggest that people donate to TRI in lieu of buying you yet another tie, candle, or tub of bath salts? Simply include information in your invitations letting people know that you would like them to donate to TRI in lieu of gifts. You'll be making their shopping easier, they'll know their money went to a good cause, and you won't have to smile when you get yet another holiday fruitcake!

Goods and Services

At TRI, we pride ourselves on giving our horses the highest quality of care and on providing a top notch therapeutic riding program. However this dedication is not inexpensive. Perhaps you can help by donating an item on our Wish List. Perhaps your company can donate services or support so we can re-direct those dollars toward caring for our horses and teaching our riders instead.
