Why Therapeutic Riding?

Of course horsemanship is FUN… but there is so much more to the experience. Discovering one’s inner-athlete is the best part, but participants can also form a special bond with a horse while improving balance, muscle strength, communication, and social skills. Add all this to an opportunity to make new friends while improving confidence and self-esteem - and you can see how horsemanship transforms the lives of TRI’s amazing participants!
